African Fabric Fans (Zero Waste Wovens 🌿)

Zero Waste Wovens 🌿
At Ti-a, we are links in a chain. Our artisans pour hours into every fan, but sometimes a fan can have slight imperfections. We call these our Zero Waste Wovens and are offered at a discount.
They are 100% durable, 100% functional, and 100% fair trade—just with a little extra character. By giving these pieces a home, you help us ensure no artisans effort is wasted and our 'Hand Up' mission continues to grow.
Every Ti-a fan is made from premium Adinkra wax-print fabric made in Ghana, with the same bold print on both sides. Our fans are handmade in Accra, Ghana, by Emmanuel Akulugu, who has made them for Tia Woven Goods for seven years.
It’s an accordion fan that folds closed and slips into a bag, with a handle and clasp wrapped in leather and finished with detailed stitching. Open, it measures about 15 inches across. Choose from more than 40 named prints, from Bluebird Paradise and Kola Nut to Terracotta Mosaic and Midnight Tide, or choose Pick For Me. Your fan will come from the same length of cloth as the one shown, with the same spirit and subtle differences.
It’s a small, light gift for summer weddings, travel, hostess gifts and stockings. Ti-a Woven Goods is women-owned and a Fair Trade Federation member. Museum gift shops and boutiques can order fans wholesale through Faire Direct Wholesale Link.
